Description
In this workshop, we will discuss some important facts about dancing the folklore of different cultures and how to approach it with respect. We will demonstrate this primarily through combinations of popular styles – raqs sharqi, baladi, and saidi. Come to the workshop, which has already been enjoyed by many dancers and is one of my favorite to teach! The seminar is suitable for all levels, including those who are just beginning to explore folklore.
